Sick & Injured
Some people have asked me how I have been getting on these last few weeks. Well the short answer is I lost close to 9lb in weight. However I have been sick, and I don't mean *cough* *cough* sick. I mean proper, cant really remember the last two weeks sick!.
I went training on the 3rd Feb but wasn't really feeling it. I was off my game the week prior as well, just wasn't thinking straight and was a bit more achey than usual. Then on the 4th Feb the flu hit me like a train. Last time I had a flu as bad as this was when I was 19. I did what any self respecting 40 year old woud do when that sick, I moved back in with my parents :) So for two weeks I lived with them, and pretty much slept the whole time.
I didn't eat much as I was sleeping and feeling like I was going to pass out at any given time. I also did a back injury by sleeping in my mother's arm chair for six hours straight.
Its really only this weekend I have felt like myself again. I haven't a clue what is going on in the world though. I haven't paid any attention to the news, I haven't a clue what is going on with work or my friends. I basically shut down for two weeks.
I'll catch up with everything in time though. On Saturday I went back to the gym and started of slow. One of the first things I did was weigh myself. I haven't done anything to warrant this loss other than be sick so I don't know if it will go up or down in the next few weeks - however I will take it.
Getting that sick is annoying. I was getting into a good place with everything and then that hit me. I know in the grand scheme of things its very little but its still annoying.
I am back to work tomorrow and also have a session that evening so that will get me back into the swing of things quickly.
